Hey there everyone! I hope your year has started off pretty amazing and that you have already started some great books! I have been pouring over 2017 new releases and I can’t even describe how excited I am for this year in books. We are getting some pretty awesome reads this year and I wanted to share which ones I am most anticipating.
5. A Court Of Wings and Ruin
Of course I am excited about getting back to sweet Rhysand! This series by Sarah J. Maas quickly became one of my favorite series ever, and I am absolutely dying to get back into this world. I just might have to re-read the books again so I can be completely and fully prepared for what ACOWAR will bring.
4. Lord of Shadows
I didn’t know it was possible for me to love a Cassandra Clare character more than Tessa Gray, but Emma Carstairs is right up there with her. Where Tessa is who I am, Emma is who I want to be. And let’t not forget about our sweet and mildly obsessed (those paintings, though??) cinnamon roll Julian. Ugh, I just need to be back in the Shadowhunter world (and not the Freeform version *eye roll*).
So yes, I already read Caraval and fell truly madly and deeply in love with it. But I already need to re-read it, guys. Please trust me when I tell you that you do not want to miss this book. The writing just blew me away. Stephanie Garber is a force to be reckoned with and I can’t wait until she writes more!
2. Wonder Woman: Warbringer
Okay, confession: I have never read anything by Leigh Bardugo. I know, I know, I’m missing out. But trust me, I own all of her books and plan to binge the hell out of her. With that being said, Wonder Woman is part of the DC Icon books that will be written by some of our most beloved YA authors and I am dying to get my hands on them the very second they come out.
1. All the glory of Victoria Schwab in 2017
If you haven’t picked up on it yet, I am all about Victoria Schwab. Like, I love her. She creates the most kick ass characters and the most insane worlds! So I’m completely ready to continue reading two of my favorite series from her. Not to mention, I’ve been missing my spirit animal, Lila Bard, so I need A Conjuring of Light, like, now.
What books are you looking forward to in 2017?
